What you'll be getting:

Chicken and Broccoli Penne Bake

Per Serving

100 g broccoli (blanched) 

120 g cooked penne pasta (gf pasta for gf diets) 

5 oz cut chicken, oiled and seasoned with salt and pepper

1/4 c cheese sauce* (milk, butter, sharp cheddar cheese, salt and pepper, gf flour) 

*dairy-free sauce: roasted cauliflower, coconut milk, salt, pepper, nutritional yeast, fines herbs

 

Equipment needed: oven safe pot, (OR) pan with casserole dish

 

Preheat the oven to 375. 

Heat up your pot on high heat. 

Add chicken. 

Space out the chicken so it will cook evenly. 

The chicken will only take a couple of minutes to cook thoroughly. 

Once the chicken is completely cooked, turn off the stove and add the broccoli and pasta. 

Add cheese sauce. If the cheese sauce has solidified you can spoon it into the pan, the heat from the chicken will help it melt. 

Mix everything together. 

Bake in the oven for 15 minutes. 

After 15 minutes, pull the pot from the oven and dish up. From start to finish this dinner takes less than 20 minutes.
